Ingredients:

  • 1 fresh pineapple, cored and sliced into 3/4-inch rings (approx. 900g)
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 tbsp light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions:

  1. Slice the pineapple into consistent 3/4-inch rings and pat each slice thoroughly with paper towels to remove surface moisture.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Toss the pineapple slices in the mixture until fully coated, using a pastry brush to ensure the edges are saturated.
  4. Place the pineapple slices in the air fryer basket in a single layer without overlapping.
  5. Air fry at 380°F (193°C) for 12–15 minutes, flipping the slices halfway through, until the edges are bubbling and mahogany-colored.
