Ingredients:

  • 1 package (approx 12 oz / 340g) Aldi Mama Cozzi Flatbread or Naan
  • 2 tbsp (30ml) Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 clove (5g) Garlic, minced
  • ½ cup (120ml) Aldi Specially Selected Marinara or Pizza Sauce
  • 1 ½ cups (170g) Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 4 oz (113g) Pre-cooked Chicken Breast, thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup (15g) Fresh Basil leaves, torn
  • ¼ tsp (1.5g) Dried Oregano

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and place the Aldi flatbread on a large rimmed baking sheet.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the olive oil and minced garlic. Brush the mixture evenly across the top of the flatbread to create a moisture shield.
  3. Spread the marinara sauce in a thin, even layer, leaving a ½ inch (1.3cm) border around the edges.
  4. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce, then distribute the sliced chicken breast and finish with dried oregano.
  5. Bake on the center rack for 8–10 minutes until the cheese is golden-brown and bubbly and the edges are mahogany-colored.
  6. Remove from the oven, top immediately with torn fresh basil, and let rest for 2 minutes before slicing.
