Ingredients:
- 3 cups (680g) cooked chicken, shredded or cubed
- 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup (120ml) sour cream
- 1 can (10.5 oz / 298g) cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup (115g) mayonnaise
- 1 tsp (5g) garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp (3g) onion powder
- 1/2 tsp (3g) salt
- 1/4 tsp (1g) black pepper
- 1 cup (60g) crushed Ritz crackers
- 4 tbsp (57g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
- Whisk in the sour cream, cream of chicken soup, mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until the mixture is a uniform, pale gold color.
- Fold in the cooked chicken gently until every piece is coated in the sauce.
- Transfer the chicken mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish, smoothing the top with a spatula to remove air pockets.
- In a small bowl, combine the crushed crackers, melted butter, and grated Parmesan cheese.
- Sprinkle the cracker mixture evenly across the top of the chicken, pressing lightly so the topping adheres.
- Place in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25 to 30 minutes until the edges are bubbling and the topping is deep mahogany-colored.
