Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (115g) Mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp (30g) Sweet pickle relish
- 1 tbsp (15g) Yellow mustard
- 1 tsp (5ml) White wine vinegar
- 1/2 tsp Paprika
- 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Onion powder
- 1 lb (450g) Lean Ground Beef (90/10)
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper
- 1/2 tsp Onion powder (for beef)
- 1 small White onion, finely diced
- 1 cup Iceberg lettuce, finely shredded
- 1/2 cup Dill pickle slices
- 6 slices American cheese
- 4 Large flour tortillas (10-inch)
Instructions:
- In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sweet pickle relish, yellow mustard, white wine vinegar, paprika, garlic powder, and 1/2 tsp onion powder until smooth. Refrigerate for at least 10 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the lean ground beef, breaking it into small crumbles with a spatula. Season with salt, black pepper, and 1/2 tsp onion powder.
- Cook the beef for 6-8 minutes until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess rendered fat if necessary to maintain the wrap's structural integrity.
- Lay a flour tortilla flat. Spread a generous tablespoon of the special sauce in the center. Top with a portion of the cooked beef, 1.5 slices of American cheese, diced onions, pickles, and shredded lettuce.
- Fold the edges of the tortilla toward the center to create a hexagonal shape, ensuring the filling is completely enclosed.
- Place the wrap seam-side down in a clean hot skillet. Sear for 1-2 minutes per side until the exterior is golden brown and crispy and the cheese has melted.
