Ingredients:
- 2 cups (300g) cooked chicken breast, diced or shredded
- 6 oz (170g) deli ham, thinly sliced or diced
- 8 oz (225g) Swiss cheese, shredded or thinly sliced
- 1/2 tsp (3g) garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp (1g) black pepper
- 1 pinch (1g) salt
- 1 lb (450g) refrigerated pizza dough, room temperature
- 3 tbsp (42g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 clove (5g) garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp (15ml) milk
- 1 tbsp (8g) dried parsley
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). In a medium bowl, toss the cooked chicken breast with garlic powder, pepper, and salt until evenly seasoned.
- On parchment paper, roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle approximately 12x18 inches.
- Spread a thin layer of Swiss cheese across the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges. Evenly distribute the ham slices over the cheese, then top with the seasoned chicken.
- Tightly roll the dough into a log starting from the long edge. Pinch the ends and the seam firmly to seal. Cut three small vents in the top of the dough.
- Whisk together melted butter, minced garlic, and milk. Brush the mixture generously over the entire crust.
- Bake for 18–22 minutes until the crust is mahogany-colored and the cheese is bubbling from the vents.
- Let the stromboli rest for 5 minutes before slicing to allow the internal juices to set.
