Ingredients:
- 1 lb Store-bought or easy homemade dessert pizza dough
- 1 tbsp Unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tbsp Granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup Light brown sugar, firmly packed
- 2 tbsp Ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp Fine sea salt
- 1 cup Powdered sugar, sifted
- 2 tbsp Heavy cream
- 1 tsp Pure vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Stretch your pizza dough on a sheet of parchment paper into a 12-inch circle.
- Brush the edges of the dough with 1 tablespoon of melted butter and sprinkle the granulated sugar over the rim. Poke the center of the dough several times with a fork to prevent air bubbles.
- Slide the dough (on the parchment) onto a pizza stone or baking sheet. Par-bake for 5–6 minutes until the dough is set and slightly puffed.
- While the base par-bakes, mix the softened 1/2 cup butter, light brown sugar, cinnamon, and sea salt in a small bowl until it forms a smooth cinnamon-butter emulsion.
- Remove the par-baked crust from the oven and spread the cinnamon mixture evenly over the center using an offset spatula, leaving the sugared crust clear.
- Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 6–7 minutes until the edges are golden brown and the cinnamon topping is bubbling.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, heavy cream, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Drizzle the vanilla glaze over the warm pizza in a zigzag pattern before slicing into 8 pieces and serving.
