Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Store-bought or easy homemade dessert pizza dough
  • 1 tbsp Unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup Light brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2 tbsp Ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Fine sea salt
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar, sifted
  • 2 tbsp Heavy cream
  • 1 tsp Pure vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Stretch your pizza dough on a sheet of parchment paper into a 12-inch circle.
  2. Brush the edges of the dough with 1 tablespoon of melted butter and sprinkle the granulated sugar over the rim. Poke the center of the dough several times with a fork to prevent air bubbles.
  3. Slide the dough (on the parchment) onto a pizza stone or baking sheet. Par-bake for 5–6 minutes until the dough is set and slightly puffed.
  4. While the base par-bakes, mix the softened 1/2 cup butter, light brown sugar, cinnamon, and sea salt in a small bowl until it forms a smooth cinnamon-butter emulsion.
  5. Remove the par-baked crust from the oven and spread the cinnamon mixture evenly over the center using an offset spatula, leaving the sugared crust clear.
  6. Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 6–7 minutes until the edges are golden brown and the cinnamon topping is bubbling.
  7. In a separate bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, heavy cream, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  8. Drizzle the vanilla glaze over the warm pizza in a zigzag pattern before slicing into 8 pieces and serving.
