Ingredients:

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

Instructions:

  1. Pat the shrimp with paper towels until completely dry to ensure a better sear.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, toss the shrimp with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, dried parsley, and cayenne pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Arrange the shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket; do not stack them to avoid steaming.
  5. Cook for 5–8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the shrimp curl into a 'C' shape and turn opaque pink.
  6. Immediately remove shrimp from the basket and let them rest for 1 minute to redistribute juices.
