Ingredients:

  • 1 box (18 oz / 510 g) Brownie Mix
  • 1 can (12 oz / 355 ml) Dr Pepper soda
  • 1 cup (170 g) Semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C). Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving a slight overhang on the sides.
  2. Pour the boxed brownie mix into a large mixing bowl. Slowly pour in the room temperature Dr Pepper.
  3. Stir with a spatula until the batter is smooth and no dry flour pockets remain, taking care not to overmix.
  4. Gently fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  5. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan.
  6. Bake for 30–35 minutes until the edges are firm and set, but the center still has a slight jiggle (the wobble test).
