Ingredients:

  • 1 box (18 oz / 510g) Brownie Mix
  • 1 cup (237ml) Dr Pepper, room temperature
  • 1 cup (170g) Semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x9 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal.
  2. Pour the brownie mix into a large mixing bowl and slowly add the room temperature Dr Pepper. Stir with a spatula until the batter is a uniform mahogany color and no dry clumps remain, being careful not to overmix.
  3. Gently fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
  4. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan. Bake for 30–32 minutes until the edges slightly pull away from the sides and the center has a very slight jiggle when shaken.
