Ingredients:
- 1 lb uncooked penne or rotini pasta
- 2 cups water
- 24 oz frozen precooked meatballs
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (218°C).
- In a 9x13 inch baking dish, combine the uncooked pasta, water, marinara sauce, garlic powder, oregano, and salt. Stir until the pasta is completely submerged in the liquid.
- Fold in the frozen meatballs, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the dish.
- Cover the dish tightly with heavy-duty aluminum foil, pinching the edges hard to create a seal.
- Bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and give the mixture a quick stir to incorporate any settled sauce.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
- Return the dish to the oven, uncovered, for 10–15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden-brown.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
