Ingredients:

  • 1 lb uncooked penne or rotini pasta
  • 2 cups water
  • 24 oz frozen precooked meatballs
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (218°C).
  2. In a 9x13 inch baking dish, combine the uncooked pasta, water, marinara sauce, garlic powder, oregano, and salt. Stir until the pasta is completely submerged in the liquid.
  3. Fold in the frozen meatballs, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the dish.
  4. Cover the dish tightly with heavy-duty aluminum foil, pinching the edges hard to create a seal.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and give the mixture a quick stir to incorporate any settled sauce.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
  7. Return the dish to the oven, uncovered, for 10–15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden-brown.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
