Ingredients:
- 1 box (18 oz / 510g) fudge brownie mix
- 1/2 cup (118ml) Dr Pepper
- 2 large eggs
- 1/3 cup (79ml) vegetable oil
- 1 tsp (5ml) vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup (85g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup (30g) chopped walnuts
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9 inch pan and line it with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides.
- In a large mixing bowl, stir together the brownie mix, eggs, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and Dr Pepper. Whisk until the batter is smooth and glossy.
- Gently fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips and chopped walnuts using a spatula until evenly distributed.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes. The brownies are done when the edges are firm and pulling away from the sides and the top has a thin, crackly crust. A toothpick inserted into the center should come out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before lifting out with the parchment paper and cutting into squares.
