- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp fine sea salt
- 1 tbsp melted butter
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
Instructions:
- Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast in a bowl; let sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
- Stir in olive oil, salt, and flour until a shaggy dough forms.
- Knead on a floured surface for 5 minutes until smooth.

- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll the dough out to fit your baking sheet.
- Prick the surface of the dough all over with a fork (docking) to prevent large bubbles.
- Bake the plain crust for 8-10 minutes until the crust looks set and is a pale gold color.
- Brush the edges of the par-baked crust with the melted butter and garlic powder.
- Add your desired sauce, cheese, and toppings.
- Return the pizza to the oven for another 10-15 minutes until the cheese is bubbling and the edges have turned a deep mahogany-colored brown.
