Ingredients:

  • 4 pieces (approx. 5 oz / 140g each) Garlic Naan bread
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) marinara sauce
  • 2 tbsp (30ml) olive oil
  • 2 cups (225g) shredded low-moisture mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup (15g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup (150g) fresh basil leaves, torn
  • 1/4 cup (60g) sliced pepperoni
  • 1/4 cup (40g) sliced mushrooms
  • 1 tsp (5ml) honey
  • 1/4 tsp (1g) red pepper flakes

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place the naan pieces on the baking sheet and lightly brush the exposed edges with olive oil to ensure a golden brown crust.
  3. Spread 2 tbsp of sauce evenly across each naan, leaving a 1/2-inch border.
  4. Layer the mozzarella cheese over the sauce and add sliced pepperoni and mushrooms.
  5. Bake in the center rack for 8–10 minutes until the cheese is bubbling with small brown spots and edges are crisp.
  6. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with grated Parmesan, fresh basil, red pepper flakes, and an optional drizzle of honey.
