Ingredients:
- 4 pieces (approx. 5 oz / 140g each) Garlic Naan bread
- 1/2 cup (120ml) marinara sauce
- 2 tbsp (30ml) olive oil
- 2 cups (225g) shredded low-moisture mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup (15g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup (150g) fresh basil leaves, torn
- 1/4 cup (60g) sliced pepperoni
- 1/4 cup (40g) sliced mushrooms
- 1 tsp (5ml) honey
- 1/4 tsp (1g) red pepper flakes
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place the naan pieces on the baking sheet and lightly brush the exposed edges with olive oil to ensure a golden brown crust.
- Spread 2 tbsp of sauce evenly across each naan, leaving a 1/2-inch border.
- Layer the mozzarella cheese over the sauce and add sliced pepperoni and mushrooms.
- Bake in the center rack for 8–10 minutes until the cheese is bubbling with small brown spots and edges are crisp.
- Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with grated Parmesan, fresh basil, red pepper flakes, and an optional drizzle of honey.
