Ingredients:
- 1 lb pizza dough
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp cornmeal
- 2 cups whole-milk mozzarella cheese, freshly shredded
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, finely grated
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
- 1/4 tsp fine sea salt
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and generously oil a large rimmed baking sheet with olive oil.
- Place the dough in the center of the pan and use your fingertips to dimple and stretch it toward the edges. If it snaps back, let it rest for 5 minutes before continuing.
- Whisk together the melted butter, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and sea salt to create the garlic herb emulsion.
- Brush the dough surface lightly with a portion of the garlic butter. Sprinkle evenly with shredded mozzarella and Parmesan, pushing the cheese to the very edges.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until the cheese is bubbling with mahogany toasted spots and the crust is golden brown.
