Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (240ml) whole milk
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) filtered water
  • 1 large overripe banana (heavily spotted)
  • 1 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch fine sea salt

Instructions:

  1. Peel the spotted banana and break it into four chunks. Optionally, flash-freeze these chunks for 10 minutes prior to blending for a colder drink without dilution.
  2. Place the banana chunks, milk, filtered water, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and sea salt into a high-speed blender.
  3. Start the blender on the lowest speed to break down the fruit, then increase to high speed for 45 seconds until the mixture is homogenous and frothy.
  4. Pour the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a glass to remove any fibrous threads, ensuring a professional silk-like texture.
