Ingredients:
- 1 cup (240ml) whole milk
- 1/4 cup (60ml) filtered water
- 1 large overripe banana (heavily spotted)
- 1 tbsp pure maple syrup
- 1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1 pinch fine sea salt
Instructions:
- Peel the spotted banana and break it into four chunks. Optionally, flash-freeze these chunks for 10 minutes prior to blending for a colder drink without dilution.
- Place the banana chunks, milk, filtered water, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and sea salt into a high-speed blender.
- Start the blender on the lowest speed to break down the fruit, then increase to high speed for 45 seconds until the mixture is homogenous and frothy.
- Pour the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a glass to remove any fibrous threads, ensuring a professional silk-like texture.
